School uniform


Our uniform can be purchased from Lee Joys in Potters Bar High Street and Smiths School Wear Enfield Town.

Girls wear:

Blue Sweatshirt/Cardigan with Northaw Logo

Pale blue polo shirt

Grey skirt/trousers

Grey tights/grey socks/white socks

Black school shoes


Boys wear:

Blue Sweatshirt with Northaw Logo

Pale blue polo shirt

Grey trousers                                         

Black socks

Black school shoes.


PE:

Navy or blue shorts, grey tracksuit bottoms, grey crested sweatshirt, blue crested tee-shirt, white socks and plain, black or white trainers for PE.


Jewellery:

Parents are reminded that jewellery should not be worn at school.

Permitted items:

  • small, plain gold / silver stud earrings – these should be left at home or taped over on days when children swim or do PE.
  • a simple watch

Long hair should be tied back with a simple pony tail band.

Nail varnish and make up should not be worn in school.


We consider that uniform is important for several reasons:

  • It provides pupils with a sense of identity and pride in their school.
  • It enhances the appearance of pupils and therefore the reputation of the school.
  • It helps to instill in pupils a sense of purpose when they put on their uniform in the mornings.
  • It overcomes the problem for both parents and teachers of what is or is not suitable for school.
