Jubilee Jamboree
As you know, we are celebrating 175 years of the school, and Friday 26 June is our Jubilee Jamboree.
The children will spend the day learning about the history of Northaw CE Primary School and enjoying a picnic together on the field, and Rev Chris will lead us in a blessing and prayer at the end of Going for Gold.
During the day, every child will also complete an artwork, reflecting what the school means to them, which we will then frame. Parents and carers are invited to tour classrooms after school, before purchasing them as keepsakes. Additionally, our invaluable, wonderful PTA will provide refreshments along with other amusements in the hall.
Every child has already completed a self-portrait, and they have been transferred to a tea towel, showing the whole school as we reach this milestone.
We and the PTA have sought to keep the cost to families low, mainly just covering expenditure - we will confirm prices nearer the time. Purchases can be made in cash or via Arbor.
I would like to thank Mrs Stratton-Stubbs for coordinating this event so successfully.
