We have been watching the weather carefully in the hope the forecast for Friday afternoon would improve; however, following the persistent drizzle yesterday, which placed a dampener on the physical activities scheduled, and precipitation currently projected to worsen at the end of this week, making the field slippery and, therefore, dangerous for races, I have decided to postpone Sports Day. I apologise for the inconvenience when so many of you will have made arrangements to join your children. Unfortunately, I cannot at this time set another date with confidence as rain is forecast across next week. I will keep the situation under review and update you at the earliest opportunity.
